London City Singers is an award winning women’s barbershop chorus based in central London
We sing a cappella and everything from classic barbershop to musical numbers and pop songs, and are dedicated to achieving a high standard and having fun. We love to perform and put on several concerts throughout the year. We also compete nationally and internationally, having won gold in the small chorus category at the 2018 Sweet Adeline’s Region 31 convention, and gold at the 2017 Spanish Association of Barbershop Singers.
Our Music Director, Simon Arnott is a British composer, arranger and music educator who has worked with several award-winning groups and also directs our brother chorus, Meantime. Simon also sings with award-winning quartets Park Street and Trailblazers.

Out now! Our debut album – Let’s Misbehave!
Celebrating 10 years of London City Singers, this album is packed with pop hits, show tunes and fantastic modern barbershop arrangements. Thank you to everyone who supported our Kickstarter campaign – you made all of this possible.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings at the London Welsh Centre on Gray’s Inn Road – it’s halfway between Kings Cross and Chancery Lane underground stations (walkable or bus-able) and also close to Russell Square station.
We love to have newcomers, though do need to ensure a good barbershop voice balance so may only be open for particular voice ranges. Further information about us here includes details on how to contact our membership co-ordinator.
